Our Machines Are "wicked fast" Little Monsters!
PAYMENT, DAMAGE, WARRANTY, REFUNDS
PAYMENT Due to a few unscrupulous people abusing both my warranty policy and the credit card chargeback system, I am no longer accepting credit card payments for purchasing my equipment. So if you want to buy something from me, you'll have to do it either by cashier's check, personal check, bank wire transfer, or PayPal. 50% deposit starts the ball rolling. As soon as we receive the first 50%, we order parts, get everything together and then start building your personal equipment. Because we don't always stock everything, it takes 3-4 weeks (sometimes a little longer if the parts aren't available to us) to fill your order. We keep you updated by email during the process so you always know what's going on and what to expect. Balance of 50% due before shipment. Once we've made everything up and it's ready to go, we'll email you and request the second half of the payment. We ship upon cleared funds. Type of payment accepted: As noted above, I've had a couple of customers who have made things harder for everyone by using the credit card chargeback system to circumvent my warranty. One person just couldn't wait for me to repair something that had occurred during transit so she charged the purchase price back through PayPal. Another person ordered a machine and then changed his mind after he received the equipment. I refused to give him a refund so he initiated a chargeback on his credit card and I had to pay for everything including all bank fees, shipping, credit card fees, etc. This only increases the cost of doing business and makes it harder for everyone else. So now, to be clear, if you order the equipment and I build it for you and ship it, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND. I have a great warranty and will repair whatever is necessary; I'm very fair and want you to be happy. See details below. So please be sure you want this equipment when you order it. You can either mail me a cashier's check or a personal check, or use a PayPal account for your purchases with Wicked Coursing. I'll even take bank wire transfers. If you use PayPal, there is a fee that I have to pass on to you. It is: Domestic transaction: 2.9%; International transaction: 3.9% Using the bank for wire transfers costs me $12 for each transfer, so I'll pass that on, too.
IF YOUR MACHINE IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING A WORD ON SHIPPING: PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD THE BOX YOUR EQUIPMENT WAS SHIPPED IN UNTIL AFTER YOU'VE THOROUGHLY CHECKED EVERYTHING FOR DAMAGE AND FIELD-TESTED THE MACHINE. IF YOUR EQUIPMENT IS DAMAGED IN ANY WAY DURING SHIPPING, YOU'LL NEED TO RETURN IT TO US FOR EVALUATION, INSPECTION AND REPAIR. NONE OF THE CARRIERS WILL HONOR THE INSURANCE CLAIM IF YOU DON'T PRESENT THE ORIGINAL SHIPPING CONTAINER. WICKED COURSING WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE INCURRED DURING SHIPPING AND WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE ANYTHING FOR FREE.
WARRANTY Again, we really want you to be happy with your equipment, so we strive to make it the best on the market by using the best available parts, and hand crafting everything. THESE ARE CUSTOM MACHINES. But please make sure you really want this equipment before you place the order because once it's shipped, it's yours. Equipment purchased from Wicked Coursing is warranted for 30 days against manufacturing defects. During that time if something goes wrong that's our fault, we'll pay for the shipping for you to return it to us for repair and for us to send it back to you. Warranty work will typically take 3-4 weeks but might be more, depending on the situation. The warranty period will be on hold until you get your equipment back, then pick up again once you receive it. Some of the components such as the battery may have separate manufacturer's warranties, so please call us if you're having any trouble. The motor in the L'il Monster has a 1 year replacement warranty from the manufacturer. Please do not disassemble your machine or take the wiring apart, or you'll void your warranty. If something comes up, call us and we'll try to work through whatever the problem is. PLEASE DO NOT CALL BEFORE 9:00 A.M. OR AFTER 7:00 P.M. PST. Each machine is bench tested and/or field tested prior to packaging it for shipment. If you want us to field test it, Lucy will be happy to accomodate all those requests. We know they run great before they leave for their destination, but if something happens in transit, call us. Please re-read the Damage policy above.
REFUNDS Because we really want you to be happy with your purchase, and don't want our equipment going where it isn't wanted and loved, we'll gladly refund your deposit in the following way: 1. You've made the deposit and then something comes up and you can't buy the equipment after all: (a) If we haven't ordered any parts, you'll receive a full refund minus any bank/PayPal fees we've incurred. (b) If we've already ordered parts, we'll refund the balance (deposit minus cost of parts) minus any PayPal fees, plus a restocking fee of 15%. 2. If we've already made the entire machine and we're ready to ship, a full refund is unlikely but call us and talk to us - we're human and we might be able to work something out... 3. IF YOUR MACHINE HAS ALREADY SHIPPED, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND.
